After a day of hiking or ice climbing on the Alaska Root Glacier, it’s fun to get a birds-eye view of the Kennicott Valley! Here’s a fun video created by our former owner, Gaia, as she flew her bush plane over the Kennicott Valley on a crystal-clear morning. Enjoy beautiful views of the Stairway Icefall, the Kennicott, Root, and Gates Glaciers, Mt. Blackburn, Donoho Peak, and Hidden Lake (chock-full of icebergs)! What a way to see Wrangell-St. Elias!
