St. Elias Expedition Winding Down

Here’s what will likely/hopefully be our final update from the St. Elias Expedition Team before they are back here in McCarthy and we are sharing actual images and stories from their trip in person!

Take a listen to their dispatch from this afternoon. They are back at the landing zone and hauling the last of the cached gear down this evening. The forecast isn’t great, so we will begin the process of looking for a weather window to get in a pick them up and hopefully we’ll have them back home by sometime this weekend. They are happy, well-fed and enjoying their sweet, sweet success back on “flat glacier”!
