Mt. Sanford Expedition on the move!

Update on our team on Mt. Sanford (the “not Bona” team!). They have been making amazing and steady progress since their drop-off on Tuesday and are now up at 13,300ft at the base of the summit cone. Yesterday they made their way up 2,000 vertical feet and 2-3 miles of sloping glacier. We gave them a weather update and checked in today and if the weather allows they will be going for the summit tomorrow. They are in great spirits and doing well and the weather may well give them a chance. Stay tuned here and on facebook!
