Early Morning Summit of Mt. Sanford!

Our team left their high camp just after midnight this morning for a proper alpine start! They climbed the remaining 3,000 vertical feet over 2 miles this morning and hit the summit at 5:15am!! The team was moving fast and 3.5 hours later has already made it back to high camp. They have a few more days to make their way down to their pick up location and they are a fast moving group of snowshoers. With a major summit under their belt and mellow weather ahead, a morning nap certainly seems in order!

Listen to their trip dispatch from the summit!
