We have completed our hiring for the 2020 summer season. We will begin accepting applications for the 2021 summer season in November 2020.
The following positions are likely to be available:
All employees work as Glacier Hiking Guides and Historical Tour leaders in additional to whatever other positions they are qualified for and/or interested in. See individual pages for details.

- A cover letter stating why you are interested in working for us, as well as which position(s) you are interested in and your dates of availability for summer 2021
- A current and detailed work history resume
- A current and detailed resume or summary of outdoor experience/qualifications
Upon receiving your complete application materials, you will receive an email providing more information about the position. The complete hiring/interview process includes additional email correspondence about the McCarthy lifestyle, a short (5-10 minute) two-way interview over Skype, reference check, and final (up to 1 hour) Skype interview. The entire process can last 2-3 weeks and applications will be accepted until positions are full.
In addition to our guiding positions, we are also likely to be hiring for a manager/housekeeper for the Shushanna Guesthouse and a gift-shop/barista position at the Kennecott Trading Company. Please email us with a general resume and cover letter if interested in either of those positions.
