only company we know of that officially allows their cars to be driven
on the McCarthy road is: Levi Car Rental in Anchorage

Scheduled service from Chitina to McCarthy daily.
Backcountry
Connections
Backcountry Connections offers daily shuttle service from Glennallen
to McCarthy. Also has good information on connecting to Glennallen from
Achorage.

Ellis
Air offers service to McCarthy from Anchorage or Gulkana every Wednesday
and Friday. Get delivered with the mail!

Kennecott Bed & Breakfast
Beautiful, new, spacious apartment in the heart of historic Kennecott. Great views of the Kennecott Glacier and Mt. Blackburn. Built in 1987, the Kennicott Glacier Lodge is a replica of one of the
historic mining buildings from the copper mining boom town days. Warm
atmosphere, friendly service and an incredible view. Located near the
center of the ghost town of Kennicott.
Currant
Ridge Cabins
Alaskan log cabins with all the comforts of home, including full kitchen
and private bath. Located at Mile 56.7 of the McCarthy Road, only a
short distance from McCarthy. Built, owned and operated by St. Elias
Alpine Guide alumnus Andy Shidner.
Kennicott
River Lodge and Hostel
Kennicott River Lodge and Hostel offers dormitory style cabins, private
rooms or private cabins. Located ¼ mile from the Kennicott River.
McCarthy
Bed & Breakfast
All cabins and rooms at the McCarthy Bed & Breakfast are comfortably
furnished with heat, lights & private bathrooms. Located off of
the McCarthy Road, ½ mile from the Kennicott River.
McCarthy
Lodge
McCarthy Lodge has a long history of business since its construction
in 1916. Since this historic building had previous uses before McCarthy
was even formed, it is the oldest structure inside Wrangell St. Elias
National Park. McCarthy Lodge is also the home of the Golden Saloon, the local nightlife headquarters. Not just located in, but in fact the center of McCarthy.
