We've been calling Winsie "The Schmoopie" since before we even met her, but we're not entirely sure what a "schmoopie" even is, whether or not she is one or why we started calling her that in the first place.

Born and raised in Vermont, Schmoopie, er, Winsie, has often felt like she was re-incarnated on the wrong coast because she is so drawn to "the big mountains out west" as she likes to call them. Having spent summers in Wyoming, Idaho and Alaska, she nonetheless chose to stay east for college, where she studies History of Science as well as her original love, ROCKS!

Her academic pursuits have no better application than a Kennecott Mill Tour, and her passion for the history of Kennecott as well as the surrounding landscape is infectious, as is her big grin and undying energy.
