Dale is mesmerized by the limitless options for adventure, exploration, and discovery that abound in Wrangell St. Elias National Park. A lifelong passion for the outdoors, a contagious enthusiasm for life, and a wide range of experiences make Dale a fun, reliable, and interesting guide (he’s been a backhoe operator, a civil design engineer, and a traveling pizza salesman). An avid rock climber, skiier, and backpacker (not to mention a ferocious scrabble player), Dale has traveled across the continent (in a homemade, hand-painted pop-up camper) looking for stunning granite walls, secret powder stashes, and new mountains to climb.
